About
Music Control is a client-side mod that lets players manage Minecraft’s music playback and customize which tracks play in different situations. Players can skip to previous or next tracks, replay or loop music, pause and resume playback, adjust music volume, and display the name of the current track. Its music categories include the vanilla event-based behavior, music discs, all available game music, and automatically detected categories for music added by mods and resource packs. A music panel lets players select a track or sound event to play, while its configuration tools associate music with events or events with music, including custom additions from mods and resource packs. The mod adds events for individual biomes, including End biomes, as well as dimensions and situations such as rain, thunder, and night, giving players finer control over when music is chosen. Players can configure how dimension and miscellaneous events compete with biome events, and can assign multiple tracks to a music disc event so a disc can play a randomly chosen track. Playback history can prevent recently played tracks from being selected randomly again, with the amount of history configurable, and filters help find music and events in the configuration panel.
