Adds many new animals, from cheetahs and camels to birds and frogs.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Natural Fauna is an addon for ZAWA that expands its animal collection with wildlife from land, water, and the air. Its roster includes African cheetahs, pumas, spotted hyenas, blue gnus, bushbucks, camels, roe deer, and Grants gazelles, alongside an American paddlefish, estuary stingray, nautilus, axolotl, and Xenopus frog. Birds include capercaillies, ostriches, avocets, loons, bustards, falcons, ptarmigans, and several turacos, as well as red-billed and ground hornbills, tropicbirds, and saddle-billed storks. Animals can spawn naturally, and birds have flying AI, poses, and animations; male ostriches adopt a threatening pose when the player comes too close. The addon also features animal-specific details such as a Xenopus tadpole, a rare variant of the red-billed tropicbird, and living sounds for puffins and newly added animals. It is discontinued and does not work alongside ZAWA 2.1 or later.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
