About
Zoo & Wild Animals Rebuilt adds real-world wildlife to Minecraft, with animals that spawn in wild biomes and interact through predator-prey relationships and distinct responses to players, from skittish or neutral to protective and aggressive. Its roster spans mammals, birds, reptiles and fish, including African and Asian elephants, lions, Bengal tigers, bison, chimpanzees, albatrosses, bald eagles, gharials, sea turtles, dolphins, humpback whales, cichlids and clownfish. Players can tame eligible animals with species-specific kibble, breed them with matching vials, and manage their care with food, water and enrichment such as brushes, balls, perches and tire swings. Animal nets let players capture and release wildlife, while an animal transport vehicle can carry a netted animal; a tracker reports nearby tamed animals’ names, locations, health and ages. A data book and care guide provide animal information and guidance, while the mod also supplies zoo-building pieces such as fences, matching doors and grates, decorative plants and coral, and functional benches. Animals have individual activity and aggression behaviors, and the care system also includes diets, thirst, and enrichment needs.
