    About

    Natural Regrowth is an addon for ProtoManly's Weather that restores forests and ground damaged by tornadoes, cyclones, squalls, and wildfires, turning destructive weather into a temporary disturbance rather than permanent landscape damage. After tornadoes, damaged or stripped trees can leave stripped-wood stumps that later collapse or heal into saplings, while wildfire-charred logs wait through a configurable cooling period before restarting tree growth. Cyclones and squalls can strip leaves or bark, which then regrow over time without resetting the forest to saplings; scoured or charred grass also gradually returns to ordinary grass. The addon supports vanilla and modded trees, including Dynamic Trees, with damaged Dynamic Trees able to topple and replant or regrow their canopy after storms. Regrowth can progress while damaged areas are unloaded, with the mod simulating elapsed time when players return. Configuration options include regrowth chances, stump delays, and grass-healing rates, so players can tune how quickly damaged landscapes recover.
