About
Nemo's Transit Expansion is an experimental extension to Minecraft Transit Railway, providing new railway features for release and testing independently of the main mod. It adds three-dimensional rail models and two trains: a Japanese National Railways D51 steam locomotive with speed-linked wheels and connecting rods, smoke effects, and automatically added train formations, and a Beijing Subway DK3 whose crew animate door operation and departure procedures. The mod supports OBJ train models from resource packs, including multiple models for different carriages, and adds decorative objects that can display OBJ models in the world; a teapot model is included as an example. Resource-pack authors can also use JavaScript to control train rendering, build on an existing train model or draw one entirely through scripts, and create dynamic textures for features such as LCD displays, flashing lights, and scrolling LED text. Train scripts can respond to train and route state, draw models on cars or between them, and play sounds, including onboard announcements.
