Minecraft Transit Railway lets players build transport networks with automated trains, boats, cable cars, and planes. Its railway systems use configurable trains, realistic bogies and movement, and improved signalling, with vehicle sway and sideways elevators adding detail to operation and station design. Players can plan routes and timetables, use route signs and platform screen doors or automatic gates, and consult an online system map with route finding and OneBusAway integration. Construction tools include bridge, tunnel, and tunnel-wall creators, while cargo loaders and unloaders support freight alongside passenger transport. The mod also offers railway infrastructure such as emerald and quartz rails, station-coloured slabs, and arrival projectors and announcer blocks that can be configured to show or play service information. Resource packs let players add vehicle models and texture variants, railway-sign text and textures, rail models, decoration objects, and elevator textures.
