Villagers get new names, trades, quests, and places to explore.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Nice Villagers Remastered refreshes villagers and village life with randomized names for villagers, wandering traders and villages, making settlements feel more distinct. Villagers can be leashed, inspected through a villager-information trigger that also highlights their claimed workbench, and may offer small fetch quests for rewards; their prices vary according to whether they have a bed and meeting point, and villagers and iron golems heal near the village bell by day. Players can change some villagers’ types by giving them particular items, while master-level traders can be given profession-related goods to add to their stock at higher prices. Wandering traders may sell mob heads and enchanted treasure books, arrive with randomized announcements and fireworks, and sometimes appear as disguised Illusioners; unemployed villagers also have mood-dependent conversations when approached. The pack adds seven Villager Outposts, including tower designs shown for plains, snowy, desert and jungle settings; each contains a special trader who sells profession-based items and miniblocks. It also includes more than 20 new advancements.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 7 structures: Villager Outpost Desert, Villager Outpost Jungle, Villager Outpost Plains, Villager Outpost Savanna, Villager Outpost Snow, Villager Outpost Swamp and Villager Outpost Taiga; 46 advancements and 4 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
