Cobblemon Freedom Frontiers is an exploration-focused Cobblemon modpack that makes Pokémon part of everyday Minecraft activities, with partner skills that let Rock types mine blocks, Grass types grow plants, and Fire types smelt them. Pokémon behave dynamically in the world: they may fly overhead, flee, or attack when approached, and the pack includes a broad roster through All The Mons and Mega Showdown. Ranger Log quests and discoveries guide progression, while filling out the Pokédex can unlock special skills and building a Ranger base lets players put their Pokémon to work on a farm. Exploration leads to Legendary Monuments and other Pokémon locations, including Snowpoint Temple with the Regi Pokémon and Lugia’s temple in the deep ocean; raid dens offer powerful Legendary and Mega Pokémon after players craft special keys. The world is reshaped into continents and islands, with generated roads linking landmarks; players can chart roads and waterways for fast-travel points, sail in ships that carry supplies, and use paragliders found in Gimmighoul chests for early travel. Survival adds hydration and temperature management, so canteens help with thirst while campfires and wool armor help players handle cold regions, and heat management matters in hot biomes. Biomes also affect Pokémon strength, with tougher encounters in hot and cold regions and still stronger Pokémon in the Nether and End; those dimensions offer an endgame challenge through powerful raid dens and rare or Legendary Pokémon. The pack changes the look and atmosphere of play with biome overhauls, revamped player animations, reanimated vanilla mobs, and weather effects with cinematic visuals and sounds.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 31 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 21 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 202 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 192 of its 195 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 195 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
