Adds German railroad signals compatible with all train mods.

Open Signals adds configurable German railway signalling to Minecraft, usable with train mods or on its own. Its built-in equipment includes HV main and distant signals, Ks combination signals, Hl signals, tram signals, traffic lights, signal plates, switch levers, barriers and crossbucks. Signals can be assembled and previewed with a placer, rotated in 22.5-degree increments, and controlled manually through a GUI, by redstone, or through a signal controller or signalbox. The signalbox provides an electronic interlocking interface: players draw a track layout, link signals and redstone inputs and outputs, then set routes by selecting a start and destination signal. When a route is set, the system positions its switches and shunting signals; with route blocking enabled, it can block an occupied route and reset it after the train leaves. Redstone inputs can connect train-mod sensors to the signalbox, while outputs can trigger devices such as switches, and a pathway requester can set a route when activated by redstone. Content packs extend the available signals and related scenery, with examples including Eastern European signal systems, catenary poles, hectometer stones, and additional German signal signs.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
Adds 48 blocks, 35 items, 13 recipes and 2 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include OpenSignals in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 2 points.
