    Ore Config lets players and modpack creators disable existing vanilla and modded ore generation and define their own generation rules. Custom rules specify the block to generate, the block to replace, vein size, vertical range, and spawn frequency, so ores such as coal, iron, gold, redstone, diamond, lapis, and emerald can be configured to replace stone. The system can also generate non-ore blocks, including iron blocks, logs, or crafting tables, and can target blocks such as dirt or grass instead of stone. Because the rules work across dimensions, replacing netherrack or basalt can place ores in the Nether, while using end stone can generate them in the End.
