    About

    Perfectly Balanced Bows is a lightweight, vanilla-friendly combat mod that makes bow attacks more engaging with critical hits and range-based damage falloff. Firing an arrow at full power has a small chance to produce a critical arrow, with crouching increasing that chance; hitting a target with one deals 50% extra damage. Arrow damage falls off when the shooter is at least 20 blocks from the target, discouraging attacks from long range. The mod replaces vanilla bow critical hits by default, supports modded bows that extend Minecraft's BowItem, and lets players configure most of its features.
