The Corrupted Aftermath is a post-apocalyptic horror modpack about surviving a world reshaped by radiation and threatened by scientific, alien-like, and supernatural infections. Players can explore Lost Cities-style world generation, a Radiation Zone, and the Fallout Wastelands dimension, alongside new biomes and zombies. Infectious foes include supernatural monsters and fungal-infection bosses and elite mobs, giving players stronger threats to confront and defeat. Powerful weapons, artillery, and new armor provide ways to contend with those enemies. Survival also involves temperature and food variety: Tough as Nails adds temperature challenges, while Spice of Life: Classic Edition encourages eating different foods.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 8 Apr 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 5 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 155 of its 158 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 155 of its 158 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 128 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
30 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
