    About

    Petrol's Parts expands Create with animated kinetic components that introduce new ways to connect, control, store, and transfer rotation, rather than simply retexturing existing parts. Shaftless and Coaxial Cogwheels can rotate independently, with up to three sharing a block; Bevel Cogwheels relay rotation around corners or between diagonal small Cogwheels, and Corner Shafts provide another way to route shafts around turns. For more involved drives, the mod adds an Overload Clutch that isolates an overstressed subnetwork, Movement as a kinetic battery, a 5-by-5 Colossal Cogwheel, Redstone-controlled gear shifting, and a Hydraulic Transmission that can connect kinetic systems in many configurations. A Horse Mill generates stress through animal-powered work, while a Differential combines its two input speeds and a Planetary Gearset offers a modified Large Cogwheel arrangement. Other additions include a Brass Depot for filtering several processing recipes, a Friction Heater that turns rotation into Blaze Burner heat, and Pneumatic Tubes that carry items along chosen paths. The Redstone Programmer lets players compose sequences of Redstone signals for nearby Redstone Links, supporting music and automation. Components are accompanied by Ponder explanations, and configuration options let players disable recipes for individual components, which can help modpack authors control access to powerful parts.
