    Quad is a vanilla-style utility mod that adds configurable tags for items, blocks, and enchantments, giving players and datapacks more control over how Minecraft content behaves and making it easier for mods to use shared tag-based features. Its tags cover practical behaviors such as fire, explosion, cactus, and lightning immunity; preventing items from despawning or sinking in powder snow; fueling furnaces; and effects such as Ender Masks protecting wearers from Endermen and tagged items healing Iron Golems. The mod also includes behavior changes such as protecting obsidian-based and Nether wood items from fire or lava, allowing Crying Obsidian in Nether Portal frames, and making cats and dogs instantly tameable with one food item in Creative mode. Quad broadens recipe ingredient choices through tags: for example, chest boats, shulker boxes, and hoppers use the wooden_chests tag, while recipes for items such as rails, buckets, shields, clocks, brushes, and blast furnaces accept ingredient tags for iron, gold, copper, and furnace variants.
