Reforged is a successor to Balkon’s Weapon Mod that expands Minecraft’s weapon options with primitive, medieval, and gunpowder-era arms, including new additions rather than a direct port. Primitive weapons support early-game hunting and self-defense, with examples such as the returning boomerang, throwable javelin, stealth-damaging knife, and blowgun that fires darts carrying effects such as poison, slowness, hunger, or wither. Medieval weapons offer specialized combat behaviors: battleaxes can chop wood faster than ordinary axes, crossbows reload slowly but can penetrate armor, and some weapons gain advantages when used on horseback. Gunpowder weapons trade ammunition and reload time for power, ranging from the musket’s aimed shot to the blunderbuss’s spread of projectiles and the Nest of Bees, which rapidly fires a broad volley of arrows. Many weapons have distinctive effects, and reloadable weapons display their remaining reload time in the hotbar.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8 to 1.12.2.
Adds 1 block, 70 items, 1 entity, 1 enchantment, 75 recipes and 8 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
