    About

    Rhenium is a memory optimization mod that limits the structure template cache according to memory use and reclaims templates that have not been used for a long time, evicting the least recently used templates first when the cache exceeds its budget while preserving recently used ones. It aims to reduce memory use during normal gameplay and pressure during long-running sessions without disrupting structure integrity or generation; in tests with adventure modpacks containing many structures, it saved about 20% of memory.
