Rough Mobs 2 is a server-side mod that makes a broad range of vanilla enemies more dangerous, with configurable features that do not need to be installed on each client. Zombies and skeletons gain extra health and may spawn with enchanted gear or as powerful bosses; zombies can leap, inflict stacking hunger, break configurable blocks, and ride zombie horses, while skeletons switch between bows and offhand melee weapons and may ride skeleton horses. Creepers move faster, turn invisible near players, and explode sooner with a larger blast, while slimes have more health, jump farther, hit with stronger knockback, and larger ones may split off baby slimes when struck. Endermen can teleport attackers away, cause blindness, or steal and drop held items, while spiders slow targets and can trap them in webs after repeated hits; both kinds of spiders can also appear with other mobs riding them. Witches can buff nearby hostile mobs and throw lingering potions, silverfish may split when attacked, and zombie pigmen inherit zombie abilities and can become aggressive when approached or when nearby blocks are broken. Nether threats are also strengthened: wither skeletons and blazes spawn throughout the Nether, blazes gain health and attack effects, ghasts resist projectiles and can drop primed TNT, and magma cubes inherit slime abilities while regenerating in lava. The mod also toughens the Wither, vindicators, and evokers, gives endermites teleporting and withering attacks, and adds effects such as guardians dropping water on death and small magma cubes leaving lava. Configuration lets server owners tune or disable features, adjust attributes individually for each entity, and change or add spawn entries.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
