    About

    Shield Overhaul expands vanilla shield combat with both defensive parries and aggressive shield bashes. A well-timed block can parry an attack and stun its target, while attacking as you block sends you forward in a bash that deals damage and knockback; successful parries can also inflict temporary weakness and slowness. The mod adds the Flameborn parry and a Vigor enchantment, along with animations and visual effects for parries, bashes, and stuns. Combat values and timing are configurable, and the mod supports shields that follow vanilla behavior; it was designed to work alongside Better Combat.
