About
Shield Parry lets recognized shields deflect incoming projectiles during a two-second window after the shield is raised, and a successful parry prevents the shield from taking damage. It works with projectiles including snowballs, ender pearls, fireballs from blazes and the Ender Dragon, and arrows; fireballs can also be parried by striking them with a sword. The mod supports Minecraft wooden shields, Immersive Engineering heavy shields, Tinkers' Construct battlesigns, and Thermal Foundation shields. Its Rebound enchantment extends the parrying window, with a maximum level of five and configurable timing and level settings; it can also be configured as a treasure enchantment found on loot-chest books and from villagers. A successful rebound produces a sound, and other players can see particles when someone parries a projectile.
