A modpack bringing together new mods and familiar favorites.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 232 graded mods, 167 are graded A or B, 48 C and 17 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Enigmatica 9 is a broad Minecraft modpack that brings together newer mods and familiar favorites, with an Expert mode that adds its own recipe, quest, and progression adjustments. Its content spans technology and automation, magic, exploration, and building, with examples including Create, Mekanism, Ars Nouveau, Nature's Aura, and Applied Energistics 2. Exploration additions include Twilight Forest structures such as Hollow Hills and Obsidian Vaults, a Tree of Life structure in Expert mode, and newer village and dungeon content from ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village and When Dungeons Arise. The pack also changes how these systems fit together through alternate recipes, adjusted processing and energy rates, and quest guidance, while adding features such as a Honey Compass that points toward an Ancient City and new brewable potions. Combat and world encounters include cave trolls, Wilden appearing in Spawner Rift waves, and named minibosses that drop affix loot.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 28 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 18 Dec 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 227 of its 232 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 227 of its 232 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 187 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
45 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
