Cobblemon Expanded is a Cobblemon modpack that brings together Pokémon-inspired features and Minecraft quality-of-life additions for a broader Pokémon adventure. Explore towns such as Pallet Town, Lavender Town, and Pacifidlog Town, with Pokémon Centers for healing and Poké Marts where you can trade iron, gold, and diamonds for Pokémon items. Battle more than 700 trainers, including Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, with level caps that rise as you defeat Gym Leaders and a Trainer Card for tracking progress. Ride Pokémon across land, water, and sky, using stamina-limited speed boosts; wild Pokémon may attack or flee, and your own Pokémon can fight other mobs or engage in freeform combat. The pack adds Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, and Terastallization for battles, while a set of 27 available Mega Evolutions includes Mega Charizard, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Gengar. Teach moves with TMs and TRs, breed compatible Pokémon in Pastures and hatch eggs over time, and use the Pokédex to check locations, evolutions, battle tips, drops, and caught-Pokémon totals. Search for nearby Pokémon with the Pokenav, use maps and a compass to find Pokémon or biomes, and travel between locations with Waystones. Legendary Pokémon such as Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Mew, Xerneas, the Legendary Birds, Walking Wake, and Iron Leaves can be found through added structures, locations, or spawning conditions, with some structures featuring access puzzles. Pokéball loot containers offer randomized rewards, while Pokémon-themed furniture, a classic pixel-art grass style, a redesigned interface, and Pokémon music add visual and audio flavor.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 18 Jun 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 2 Jun 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 123 of its 124 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 99 of its 100 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 9 of the 100 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
