StarRail Express is a multiplayer social-deduction and minigame mod that reworks the train-murder-mystery format with its own runtime and expanded roles, modes, maps, and game systems. Its four factions include civilians such as Doctors and Detectives, killers such as Ninjas and Morphlings, neutrals such as Thieves and Ghouls, and Vigilantes or Sheriffs who can eliminate killers; signature roles include the tarot-themed Fool, stealthy Shadow Falcon, and Pilot with air support. More than 20 modifiers add variations such as extra starting money, split-personality play in which two players control one body, and special character types including Knight and Refugee. Players can choose roles before a round, play Killer against Super Loose End, or repair a codebreaker to escape, alongside diversions such as card battles, roulette, hide-and-seek, bomb passing, and sniper duels. The mod includes preset train and scenario maps, supports community-made maps, and provides JSON map configuration for spawn points, waiting areas, game zones, rooms, and background scrolling, as well as map voting and tools for editing interactive scenes. A redesigned HUD, character-selection screen, shop, and results panel provide task directions, stamina displays, and gameplay prompts, while a replay system records key events for viewing after a match. Administrators can manage money, control game flow, and load or switch maps using the mod's commands; detailed player and server statistics are also available. StarRail Express incorporates roles and content associated with Harpymodloader, StupidExpress, Noellesroles, Harpy Simple Roles, and KinsWathe, and adds items, entities, and blocks for the train. It requires Wathe for its decorative resources but replaces Wathe's runtime, so other Wathe addons should not be installed alongside it.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends your player ID
Sent to sessionserver.mojang.com.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code, text and assets
The author declares AI code, assets and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with StarRailExpress - Wathe Addon: their authors or StarRailExpress - Wathe Addon's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as StarRailExpress - Wathe Addon, so you only need one.
Modpacks that include StarRailExpress - Wathe Addon in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
