Tools and machines help you manage thirst and temperature while you survive.

Survival Tools adds equipment and machines for managing thirst and body temperature alongside Tough As Nails or SimpleDifficulty, with options suited to lightly or heavily modded setups. For hydration, basic and reinforced Canteens restore thirst when used, while wearable Hydration Packs automatically hydrate their wearer and can also attach to chestplates; an Open Barrel collects rainwater. The Handheld Purifier prepares liquids for Canteens, Hydration Packs, and other fluid containers, while Solid Fuel and redstone-flux-powered purifiers process liquids in machines; scripted recipes can extend their fluid interactions. Unlike containers that track fluid through item tags or damage, Survival Tools' containers function as fluid containers that can be filled or emptied from tanks, world fluids, and compatible modded filling machines, and they hold Purified Water only. Temperature-control options include a portable redstone-flux regulator and a Central Air Unit that regulates players across a large area. The mod also integrates temperature and hydration features with Blood Magic, Botania, Embers, Nature's Aura, and Thaumcraft: examples include Blood Magic's Soothing Hearth ritual and hydration sigil, Botania's Gryllzalia and Pure Pitcher, and wearable temperature regulators such as the Mantle Cloak, Environmental Amulet, and Thaumic Regulator.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 4 blocks, 15 items, 7 recipes and 1 sound.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
