TaCZ Tactical Breaching is a tactical combat addon for Timeless and Classics Zero (TaCZ), adding destructive breaching and sensory effects to gunfights. TaCZ weapons can damage doors and trapdoors, with configurable durability and optional drops when blocks break; glass, including stained and tinted glass and panes, can crack, shed shards, and optionally let bullets pass through. The addon adds throwable frag grenades with bouncing, rolling, timed fuses, shrapnel, and effects such as smoke, dust, and stronger pressure indoors; walls can block shrapnel, while explosions can also break glass. Flashbangs produce a bright flash, ringing and visual stress effects, with their strength affected by line of sight and the direction a player is facing. The Nightstick Compact Laser gains a flashlight beam and dynamic lighting, while its laser remains visible through smoke and dust. Combat adds material-specific debris such as wood splinters, metal sparks, and glass shards, along with muzzle and indoor smoke, hot-barrel smoke, and visible weapon heat buildup during sustained fire. Weapons produce contextual sounds for impacts, ricochets, suppression flybys, and explosions, with indoor reverb and outdoor echo or muffling; bullets also leave fading marks such as holes, cracks, dents, and scorch marks. Other combat feedback includes blood mist and splatter on surfaces, plus sparks and ricochet sounds when bullets strike armor. The addon also introduces magazine drops, weapon jamming, soft, ceramic, heavy, and military-grade armor plates, handcuffs with a key, a gas mask with a filter system, and distant gunshot audio. Many systems can be configured, including block durability, grenade behavior, smoke, lighting, decals, and sound or particle limits; multiplayer block damage is server-authoritative, with synced grenade effects and performance controls.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code.
2 of its files for recent versions are not checked yet.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 4 files we read
We read its code: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
