Survive a harsh world, then build your way into industrial technology.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 263 graded mods, 195 are graded A or B, 54 C and 14 D to F. Its last update came out 2 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Gregnautics is a hardcore tech-survival modpack that combines TerraFirmaCraft survival with Create-based mechanical automation and GregTech-style industrial progression. Early play centers on geology, climate, food, charcoal, metalworking, bloomery processing, and hand-forged tools before mechanized production takes over. Create machinery and its addons connect this hands-on start to industry through processing such as lathing, sawing, mixing, compacting, and thermal recipes, alongside production chains for rubber, wires, gears, springs, rods, and plates. GTCEu provides the long-term progression, advancing through material tiers, electricity, chemistry, alloys, machines, and high-end automation. Recipes and materials are reworked to make forging, casting, heating, and machine processing fit a coherent progression, unifying overlapping metals, fluids, and components across the pack’s systems. Create: Aeronautics is integrated as a later-game engineering goal, with flight and advanced mechanical systems drawing on the same metallurgy, rubber, electronics, and machine chains as the rest of the pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 22 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 21 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 258 of its 264 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 253 of its 259 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 21 of the 220 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
39 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
