Tan’s Huge Trees enriches Minecraft worlds with large, varied trees and other forest details, placing pre-designed tree forms into biomes through its own world-generation system; trees can reach up to 1,000 by 1,000 blocks and may spawn in groups or near water. Examples include redwoods, palms, apple trees, baobabs, snowy-taiga pines, and exceptionally large named trees such as Helios, with some species associated with particular biomes or compatible biome mods. Trees can appear dead, leafless, hollow, or fallen, and living trees may die after losing their leaves or having the central section where trunk meets roots cut; some also shed leaves after their twig parts are cut. Most trees can drop and regrow leaves, with some responding to seasonal changes by shedding in autumn and regrowing in spring; fallen leaves also accumulate as litter on the ground and water. Built-in saplings let players grow trees in survival or creative play, while basic configuration can disable trees, change their biome placement, or switch off features. Custom packs provide a deeper way to add or edit tree species, variants, decorations, and settings, and can be shared; the included tree generator is an authoring tool used to create tree content. Serene Seasons can synchronize the trees’ leaf cycles with its seasons, while Biomes O’ Plenty and Regions Unexplored provide additional biome settings for some trees; NoCubes and No Cubes Reloaded are supported by a block-connecting system that improves how tree blocks meet.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Adds 57 blocks, 1 item, 1 dimension, 1 structure and 1 recipe.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 3 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
