About
Techemistry is a chemistry-based technology mod focused on processing materials through machines and using heat and steam to produce power. Its machines include solid-fuel and solar heaters, a gas collector that gathers gases from nearby blocks and entities, and a calcination chamber for low-oxygen processing, such as making coke or converting sulfide minerals into oxides. A smeltery processes mostly oxide compounds into ingots using flux and coke, while a gear-powered maceration station grinds materials with gears that wear down and differ by material. For energy and chemical processing, a steam boiler supplies a turbine that generates RF/FE, while an electrolyzer initiates difficult reactions and a reaction chamber handles general reactions such as acid-base reactions. A fermenter processes fermentable substances with yeast, and a distillery can turn fermentation products into ethanol for fuel.
