Build a colony, tame dragons, and grow stronger through fantasy adventures.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 173 graded mods, 105 are graded A or B, 33 C and 35 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
World of Dragons A New Age is a sandbox modpack for building a thriving colony, exploring a world of dragons and ruins, and pursuing technology, magic, crafting, and loot-driven RPG progression. Players can guide citizens and develop their colony, tame or confront dragons, uncover forgotten ruins, decorate their realm, use RFTools technology, and explore ancient magic. Mine & Slash shapes the combat journey: creatures grow stronger farther from spawn, and defeating them can reward loot, spells, and experience, so players benefit from taking on challenges suited to their level. Character growth includes a talent system, while equipment can be improved by socketing gems with a Jeweler’s Tool, extracting them with a Gem Socket Extractor, and applying essences directly to gear. The pack supports both solo play and cooperative adventures, with companions able to gather rare ores and tackle boss lairs while technology or magic helps in difficult fights.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 18 Jun 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 25 Dec 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 171 of its 174 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 171 of its 174 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 1 of the 126 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in it, or its author declares AI content.
5 other mods show AI use only from after this release (18 Jun 2025), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
48 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
