Techguns-CE is a modernized community continuation of Techguns, a gun-and-technology mod that expands combat with firearms, armor, machinery, and dungeons. Its progression includes craftable armor such as MK2, Nether Combat, and Steam armor, alongside machines including the Ammo Press, Metal Press, Chemical Laboratory, Grinder, Fabricator, and Reaction Chamber for processing resources and making equipment. The fork adds nine dungeons across the Overworld, Nether, and End: the Depot, Train, and Big Factory House; Nether Medium Cluster, Nether Building, and Nether Submarine; and End Cluster, End Building, and End Floating Ship. Combat encounters include End-dwelling Supermutants, rocket-firing Ghastlings, and more capable mobs, while helicopters pose a tougher threat and radiation makes uranium handling more dangerous. Armor can be customized with camouflage, and the ammo HUD can be adjusted through configuration. The edition also revises crafting and progression: Supermutants can provide the UV element needed for a UV Emitter, Cyberdemons drop flesh used as a route to the Fabricator, and a Nether Fortress blueprint is needed for the Reaction Chamber.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 300 items, 367 recipes, 40 loot tables and 169 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
