The Abyss: Legacy adds a dark dimension built around exploration and danger, where magical blocks and the dimension’s plants, fungi, and creatures provide the light. Its worlds include the Abyss and Abyss Nether, with biomes such as the Abyss Wastelands, Forrest, Soul Forrest, and Deeplands; the Phantom Update also adds a Phantom Biome and five dungeons. Creatures include Abyss Creepers, Spiders, Zombies and Skeletons, as well as Mutated Cows, Abyss Guards, Fire Golems, Wither Blazes, Phantoms, and Eyelies. The mod adds roughly 100 items, blocks, and recipes, including Abyss, Unstable, Fire, Ice, Loran, and Poison ores; themed armor and weapons; tools; and special pearls. A portal connects the dimension to the overworld, and using its activator causes some Abyss dirt to spread around it. An in-game guide book explains how to make the portal and craft some items, while JEI can be used to look up other recipes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.4.
Adds 98 blocks, 129 items, 21 entities, 24 biomes, 4 dimensions, 8 enchantments, 186 recipes, 11 advancements and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.4.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.4.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
