About
The Eight Fabled Blades adds eight rare, dormant swords that players discover as loot in specific structures rather than craft or repair. Their locations range across the Overworld, Nether, and End: for example, the Arrow Slasher appears in jungle temples and village blacksmith forges, the Disenchanting Saber in stronghold libraries and Nether fortresses, the Lunar Edge in igloos, and the Sword of the Great End in End cities. Each blade has distinct combat properties, including the Arrow Slasher's ability to slice arrows, the Haymaker's powerful knockback, the Shield Breaker's longer shield disable, and the Lunar Edge's night-only invisibility followed by a debuff when it attacks. The blades can also be awakened once they have gathered enough stored energy, restoring their original power and revealing their true names. Almost every aspect of the mod is configurable, and blade tooltips can reflect those settings.
