Lighter version of Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons modpack for slow PCs.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 204 graded mods, 69 are graded A or B, 39 C and 96 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
RogueLite Adventures and Dungeons is a lighter, performance-conscious version of Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons, with configurations adjusted and some features, especially world generation, reduced for slower PCs. The pack centers on dungeon crawling, exploration, looting, and combat, with quests that offer challenges and rewards as players develop their skills and equipment. Its world includes dungeons and surface ruins, alongside adventure dimensions such as the Twilight Forest, the Aether, the Betweenlands, Atum II, and Tropicraft. These realms bring distinct landscapes, mobs, mazes, traps, and bosses: the Twilight Forest features the Lich, Hydra, and Naga, the Aether offers skybound labyrinths explored with airships, and the Betweenlands is a dangerous swamp world with its own creatures and mechanics. Combat includes varied creatures, dragons that players can try to tame, and mobs with Diablo-like modifiers; enemies also grow stronger as players progress and improve their gear. Players can find spell books and cast and master magic spells, earn coins from quests for rewards, and encounter randomized modifiers on weapons and tools. Backpacks with their own inventories support long journeys, and improvements to wolves offer a traveling companion.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 14 Sep 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 5 Jul 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 213 of its 215 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 213 of its 215 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (14 Sep 2023) in the 103 mods we checked.
13 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
112 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
