Thermite adds a body-temperature survival system that responds to biome temperature, time of day, weather, water, and nearby blocks, with dangerous overheating or chilling causing damage. Warmth comes from nearby heat sources such as torches, fire, lava, and campfires, as well as leather armor; leather pieces can be upgraded with wool cloth to provide more warmth. Ice, packed ice, and blue ice cool nearby players, while rain, snow, nighttime, water, and exposed wind can also lower body temperature; wind direction is shown with particles and its effects increase at higher elevations. The mod adds an ice box for making ice from a water bottle in cold or frigid climates: once frozen, it yields three ice and provides packed-ice-like cooling, but melts faster in warmer biomes. A lit brick fireplace provides heat over a large radius, can be fueled with coal, charcoal, coal blocks, or sticks, and can be fitted with walls above it to direct its smoke like a chimney. A changing hotbar thermometer shifts from blue and icy when cold to orange and fiery when hot, and shakes when the temperature is dangerous; holding a thermometer in the offhand reveals a numerical reading, with 50 as the neutral value. Fire resistance prevents damage from high temperatures, while fire-protection enchantments provide some cooling; the mod also offers ice juice as a cooling option. Biome temperatures allow the system to work with modded biomes that define their temperatures appropriately, and Fabric Seasons can affect player temperature through seasonal changes.

Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
