    About

    Valkyrien Skies is a physics engine and library mod that lets players and addons turn Minecraft builds into moving ships, so they can sail or fly through the world. Ships behave as rigid bodies: they account for properties such as mass, friction, and elasticity, can float when light enough, and collide with the world, other ships, players, and other entities. Blocks and block entities on a ship continue to function and remain usable while it moves, allowing players to interact with working builds in motion. The mod is designed to be paired with addons for ordinary gameplay; examples include Eureka for building boats and airships, Clockwork, Trackwork, Create: Propulsion, Valkyrien Sails, VMod, and Control Craft. It also supports Create, including the possibility of taking Create machines mobile, while dedicated integration addons can add further features and gameplay elements. Datapacks can adjust block properties such as mass and friction, set entity behavior around ships, and specify dimension properties such as atmosphere and gravity for addon calculations.
