    About

    Voxy Server is a Fabric server-side mod that generates Voxy level-of-detail (LOD) terrain data and streams it to connected players, so they can see distant terrain without scanning or loading the world on their own clients. As chunks load, the mod voxelizes them and stores the LOD data per world, then sends sections outward from each player's position and continues streaming as they move. Building, explosions, and other block changes trigger affected sections to be regenerated and sent to clients, keeping the distant terrain view up to date. Administrators can also backfill already generated terrain directly from region files, with imported dimensions refreshed for connected Voxy clients when the import finishes. Players can adjust their own streaming radius and section rate limits, subject to server-configured maximums, while server administrators can tune streaming, generation, and change tracking behavior. Players without Voxy are unaffected by the mod.
