    About

    The Ultimate Unicorn Mod expands Minecraft’s horses with seven magical breeds: unicorns, pegasi, nightmares, destriers, hippocamps, kirin, and reindeer. These horses have distinct behaviors and extra equipment and inventory slots, can fight with or without a rider, and can be bred to pass traits such as horns, wings, size, and magical abilities to their offspring. Crossbreeding can produce combinations such as a winged unicorn or a large horse with flaming hooves, as well as secret mutant breeds including Rainbow Smash; a DNA tester helps inspect inherited traits. Equipment and magic items, including horseshoes, helms, wingtips, and wands, add abilities such as turning water to ice, buffeting enemies with wind, and calling down lightning. Nightmares leave fire trails and can fling fireballs near flames, while pegasi can fly and use wing-buffet attacks. Players can also design custom unicorn skins with optional powers, and make those designs available to others using a name tag on a unicorn or pegasus.
