Mystical Village 2 is a magic-and-adventure modpack built around exploring a custom Biome Bundle world, mastering magic, encountering mythical creatures, and creating elaborate builds. Players can pursue different kinds of magic through Thaumcraft, Astral Sorcery, and Electroblob’s Wizardry, while hunting and taming creatures such as unicorns and dragons with mods including Ultimate Unicorns and Dragon Mounts. Exploration includes the Twilight Forest, custom Roguelike Dungeons with challenging levels, new mobs and treasure, and NPC-guarded keeps and strongholds made with Ancient Warfare; the pack also features hunting bounties and custom dungeon and mob loot. For building and decoration, Chisel & Bits, ArchitectureCraft, MrCrayfish’s Furniture, and Decocraft offer ways to shape and furnish strongholds, with varied wood colors from Natura and Forestry and many stone types from Rockhounding. Beyond exploration and building, players can grow crops with Botania and Mystical Agriculture, breed dragons, magical horses, bees and Animania pets, or take on the more challenging tool use added by Primal.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 13 Oct 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
9 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 2 Aug 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 182 of its 188 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 181 of its 188 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 81 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
107 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
