About
XL Food Mod expands Minecraft’s farming and cooking with eight crops and more than 150 food items, including new cakes, ores, and flowers. Its crops include rice, pepper, corn, cucumber, lettuce, onion, tomato, and strawberry, which can be used in recipes such as fried rice, hot sauce, cornbread, and tomato sauce. The food selection ranges from breads, cheeses, and pastries to burgers, tacos, sandwiches, sushi, salads, soups, and stews, as well as pies, cakes, cookies, and ice cream. The mod also adds drinks with varied effects, including energy drinks that grant temporary buffs and beer that causes nausea. New grass can drop seeds from the mod, and configuration options let players disable world generation for the grass, vanilla flowers, and rock salt.
