Last Days of Humanity is a hardcore zombie and parasite apocalypse survival modpack built around enduring 100 days and defeating a parasite raid at the 100th midnight. Players can learn to build guns, turrets, vehicles, complex machinery and robot soldiers, recruit survivors to a base, and seek ores found only in wasteland deserts. The danger escalates through faster zombies that can break blocks, pillar up, summon allies and infect survivors, invasions every ten days, enemy survivors, and parasites that begin appearing on day 50 and grow more numerous over time. Mutated creatures inhabit specific biomes, while Scape and Run creatures feature in the custom midnight boss event on day 100. Buildings may collapse unless supported by suitable blocks, and mining below y 30 outside wasteland deserts is limited by toxic gas, which players can enter with a gas mask. The pack also adds defensive barbed wire in three tiers that damages and slows mobs until its durability wears down, and zombies drop clothing scraps that can be crafted into useful items.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 29 May 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 6 May 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 144 of its 145 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 142 of its 143 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 83 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
60 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
