Escape an asteroid space station and find your way back to Earth.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 194 graded mods, 60 are graded A or B, 37 C and 97 D to F. Its last update came out 4.2 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
AstroBlock is a space-survival modpack in which you begin stranded in an asteroid space station and must repair it and produce fuel to find your way back to Earth. A progression-oriented quest book guides the journey, teaches useful tricks, and is paired with a rewards system. Exploration extends across planets, moons, and other galaxies, with custom asteroids containing resources such as diamond, emerald, lapis, redstone, quartz, and silicon ore. Asteroid locations feature structures including solar arrays, cargo ships and wrecks, alien bases, and abandoned sites; the pack also includes Android Cities and Androids that spawn naturally in the overworld. A shop, an in-game modpack guide, and a galaxy map round out the journey.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 27 Jul 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 26 Jul 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 203 of its 204 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 200 of its 203 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 99 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
104 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
