Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 117 graded mods, 94 are graded A or B, 21 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 7 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Alaskan Wilderness Reimagined is a survival modpack inspired by ForgeLabs’ “1 Year Stranded in the Alaskan Wilderness” video. It includes a premade world with the video’s tower, and custom worlds can also place players beneath a tower at spawn. Its reworked terrain features dense forests, rivers, mountains, and smaller plains. Additional gameplay and atmosphere features include cameras and photography, painting, improved caves with underground geysers, enhanced rain and snow, waves and water physics, and butchery. An in-game /guide command offers survival basics.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 8 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 1 Dec 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 119 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 112 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
