    About

    Pretty Rain replaces Minecraft’s default weather visuals with particle effects that make rain fall at an angle, with stronger wind during storms, and snow rotate as it falls. In deserts and other dry biomes, including modded biomes, dust and shrubs blow through as sandstorms; rain and water particles also match the biome’s water tint. Rain creates ripples on water and streaks on hard walls, while ground fog appears just above sea level in humid biomes. The mod lets players toggle effects and adjust particle behavior through configuration; particle radius, density, and maximum amount can be reduced to ease performance, and rain spawns up to 1,500 particles by default. An experimental, potentially laggy fog effect is available but disabled by default.
