A magic and warfare pack where you bend elements and build empires.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 30 graded mods, 9 are graded A or B, 9 C and 12 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Avatar: Dawn of the New Nations is a fan-made substitute for a planned pack inspired by the Avatar series, combining elemental bending with empire-building and warfare. Players can use Ancient Warfare to build an empire with NPCs; empires also generate in the world, and the pack recommends playing with friends for larger-scale wars. The world includes dangerous fantasy creatures from Ice and Fire, including dragons, sea serpents, and medusas, as well as mobs from Mowzie’s Mobs, Primitive Mobs, and Infernal Mobs. The pack also includes exploration and travel tools such as Antique Atlas, Waystones, and a grappling hook, plus Chisel for changing blocks and Traveler’s Backpack for carrying supplies.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 4 Feb 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Jan 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 33 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 33 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (4 Feb 2021) in the 11 mods we checked.
2 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
22 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
