Adds a whole lot of potion effects to the game.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Potion Core adds a broad set of potion effects, intended in part as a foundation for other mods; its effects are available through the creative menu rather than brewing recipes in this mod. Its combat effects include Trueshot and Klutz for projectile damage, Magic Focus and Magic Inhibition for magic damage, and Recoil, which reflects some damage to attackers. Other effects can trigger explosions, fire, lightning or upward launches; strengthen or weaken defenses with Iron Skin, Diamond Skin, Vulnerability, Broken Armor, Magic Shielding and Solid Core; or revive a player after death with Revival. Utility effects include Slowfall, Step Up, Reach, Climbing, armor and item corrosion or repair, several kinds of teleportation, flight, and Love, which causes breedable creatures to breed. The mod also includes effects that alter breathing, jumping, inventory order and controls, extend another effect, grant random beneficial or harmful effects, clear good or bad effects, or invert active effects. Potion Core adds attributes for properties such as projectile and magic damage, jump height, digging speed, step height, damage resistance and protection from magic damage, which can also be applied to armor and tools. It also modifies vanilla Blindness so its fog intensifies by level and affects mobs, and makes Jump Boost height controllable by holding the jump button. An optional, configurable Potion Sickness mechanic can limit beneficial potion use and occasionally inflict a random harmful effect after a configurable threshold of beneficial effects.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
