A survival adventure where the Wither Storm chases you across worlds.

Explorer's Eve is a Wither Storm-focused adventure modpack that reworks progression around a chase: you begin in the Twilight Forest, flee the pursuing Storm, and search across multiple worlds for the gear and ingredients needed to defeat it. Key items are tied to particular locations, with examples including flight-granting armor in the Aether, a champion to face atop the Twilight Forest's white castle, and Illager mages pursued through an abandoned portal into a realm where the sun stands still. The journey includes redesigned or added dungeons and structures, such as Aurora Palace, the Plateau Castle, Reanimated Ruins holding Super TNT, Blue Skies portal relics, and a new End dungeon; maps can help locate some of these sites. The Wither Storm follows you across dimensions, destroys terrain, and can breach shelters, while Super TNT can serve as a distraction when you have an extra bomb. The pack adds 50 unbreakable Explorer's Treasures with varied benefits and abilities, and its custom progression includes empowering certain equipment at the Withered Beacon for the endgame. Boss encounters receive custom twists, including changes to the Command Block fight, a Withered Symbiont battle in which the Storm can participate, and a distinct true final battle after the Storm is defeated. Custom music accompanies events and boss fights, while a guidebook offers progression advice and unlocks chapters as you advance. For a punishing chase-and-combat adventure, the pack also adds player corpses to preserve dropped items, keeps bed spawn points when beds are broken, and gives the Storm a distraction after player deaths.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.4 · Forge, 6 Dec 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 9 Nov 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 37 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 37 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 33 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
4 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
