A collection of mods that helps your game run faster.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 21 graded mods, 20 are graded A or B, 0 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 13 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.8. See the mods
FPS++ is a client-focused performance modpack intended to improve Minecraft’s frame rate, with optimization mods that target rendering, entity and block-entity culling, chunk management, lighting, memory use, world generation, redstone, and game logic. Its included options and rendering tools include Sodium, Sodium Extra, and Reese’s Sodium Options, while Iris Shaders supports shader use; the pack also includes Complementary Shaders: Unbound and a Faithful 64x texture pack. The modpack can also serve as a performance-oriented base for a custom pack, and some included optimizations can work on servers as well.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.8 · Fabric, 15 Sep 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 22 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 20 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 20 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
