A ready-to-play modpack with lively animations for your mobs.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 28 graded mods, 24 are graded A or B, 4 C and none D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.21. See the mods
Fresh Animations out of the box is a Fabric modpack built around the Fresh Animations resource pack, included so it is ready to enable in-game. Its other mods focus on compatibility and performance, supporting resource packs that use Optifine-specific features and shaders through included ports and Iris. Complementary is included as an example shader, and the pack is intended to work with other resource packs and shaders as well. Performance-focused additions aim to improve framerate, reduce ping and memory use, and prevent some kinds of lag; the pack can also serve as a base for adding other mods.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21 · Fabric, 12 Jul 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 29 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 27 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (12 Jul 2024) in the 27 mods we checked.
2 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
