A moon survival modpack guided by quests and resource gathering.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 49 graded mods, 11 are graded A or B, 7 C and 31 D to F. Its last update came out 3.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Galactic Science is a survival-focused modpack set on the moon, where an integrated quest book guides progress through gathering resources and completing objectives; its Hardcore Questing Mode does not delete the world when you die. Early progression draws on Ex Nihilo: sieving moon turf or sand can yield resources such as Ancient Spores, while sieving Soul Sand can produce Nether Quartz, Nether Wart, and Ghast Tears. Barrels provide pack-specific crafting and resource options: wooden barrels can compost plant matter or make clay and Witch Water, while stone barrels can turn lava into netherrack with redstone, endstone with glowstone, or obsidian when water is poured above it. Witch Water can be used with sand to make Soul Sand and can transform mobs, for example turning Creepers into Charged Creepers, Pigs into Zombie Pigmen, and Skeletons into Wither Skeletons. The included mods span space and technology, including Galacticraft and 4Space alongside Electrical Age, EnderIO, OpenComputers, Nuclearcraft, and Blood Magic.
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 1 Oct 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.

No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 54 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 54 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 21 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
33 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
