A demake of modern Minecraft, with Alpha Minecraft mechanics with optional PSX graphics.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 76 graded mods, 53 are graded A or B, 12 C and 11 D to F. Its last update came out 3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Legacy: PSX Edition is a Herobrine-inspired modpack that recreates the feel of older Minecraft through Alpha-style mechanics, hybrid Alpha and modern world generation, and optional PSX-style graphics. It removes sprinting and hunger and restores combat without an attack cooldown, while all features remain available with the graphics shaders disabled. Exploration includes extra structures, some of which may appear unexpectedly, and the world grows increasingly unsettling as you play. Herobrine may stalk players at night, play sounds, and place strange structures in their worlds; underground, the Cave Dweller can relentlessly pursue those it finds. At night above ground, the Man From the Fog aggressively chases players who look at him, while Eyes in the Darkness stalk them at night and in caves.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 8 Nov 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 31 Oct 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 75 of its 76 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 72 of its 73 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
