Classic graphics options and smoother gameplay, powered by Fabric mods.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 69 graded mods, 62 are graded A or B, 6 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 6 weeks ago, for Minecraft 26.3. See the mods
This author published several projects at once on Modrinth: up to 10 projects published within 2 weeks. 4 of the author's 13 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
OptiFine for Fabric is a performance-focused modpack that brings OptiFine-style graphics and resource-pack features to Fabric using modern optimization mods such as Sodium, Iris Shaders, and Lithium. It aims to improve frame rates and reduce stuttering and lag, including on lower-end systems, while retaining familiar visual options. Visual features include shader compatibility, dynamic lighting, connected textures, HD resource-pack support, custom block and entity models and textures, animated items, capes, custom skyboxes, and built-in zoom. The pack also includes broad performance work such as chunk and terrain-generation optimization, block and entity culling, memory-leak fixes, and integrated-server and network optimizations. Players can add their own mods for custom setups, and the project also offers a Fabric+ variant with additional quality-of-life features, including level-of-detail rendering and connections to legacy Minecraft servers.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, 18 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 70 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 69 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 69 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
5 other mods show AI use only from after this release (18 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
